anyone know of any ones that the tryouts arent already done?
im going to oberlin this summer for ODT but thats it. i want to do more but most i can find the tryouts were in january and february =[

Most if not all of the major ballet companies (Joffrey, Atlanta, Miami, ABT, ROck School) etc. are done - you might try looking on the web, but to try out for any remaining school may entail flying/driving to another city a long ways away. Audition season is Jan-Feb and maybe the first week or two in March. Local studios usually have some sort of 2-3 week summer intensive with visiting artists, but that is about it. It sounds like you are doing about as much as you can for this summer. Sorry, you may have to wait until next year.

you mean summer intesives. You need to get a dance magazine. there are DOZENS of companys that advertsie in these magazines. I think the January ssue of Point magazine had a special about summer intesives... there were so many to chosse from!
