Yes, the Raiders should pick him up because this kid is a stud. He is a nice big Q that is fast on his feet and is not afraid to run. I haven't even mentioned his arm, the guy can throw 55 yards... sitting down!!! If Moss stays then he can have some body to throw to him that devastating deep ball for a TD.

sure, it truly is a good looking good threat. listed below are my rationalization why: a million) Al Davis and the Raiders conflict Room have not made a distinct committment to drafting JaMarcus Russell 2) they have shown severe activity in WR Calvin Johnson, who's a larger swifter more suitable version of #18. 3) For some astounding reason, the Raiders look to imagine Andrew Walter is a quarterback worth of being an NFL starter 4) Drafting a QB severe contained in the draft has mixed consequences (you are able to get a Peyton Manning, yet you are able to also land up with Ryan Leaf. Cade McNown, Tim settee and Akili Smith are significant names to save in ideas too If the Raiders flow with Calvin Johnson, no longer even the braindead Matt Millen could screw this up. i imagine Detroit is a more suitable positive in good structure for Russell besides. The Lions have a good O-Line, have Tatum Bell contained in the backfield as insurance if/even as Kevin Jones receives injured, and they have Roy Williams and Mike Furrey on the WR's. they have Jon Kitna on the roster, who became the starter for the Bengals for a season before turning the activity over to Carson Palmer. How'd that exercising consultation? i wish the Raiders flow with Johnson because i imagine Russell can make the Lions appropriate contained in the NFC again.

If it was any other team than the Raiders picking first overall Quinn would go 1st.But because of the offense the Raiders run and Al Davis loves to throw the deep ball Russell is perfect for the team. With Jerry Porter and Randy Moss going deep the Raiders will be hard to stop in the future if they give this kid time to throw.Andrew Walters obviously isn't the answer for them even though he has a big arm also.Right now it looks like Quinn will be headed to Cleveland because the Lions want Joe Thomas.

He has great potential, no doubt, and a huge upside. He has great size and arm strength but he is more of a prospect than Brady Quinn. Quinn is more NFL ready than Russell, but Russell has the higher upside so he will go first. The Raiders have also made it clear that they want Russell and they like his style of a QB

Yes he is ready. His beg frame, and ability to move the the pocket is perfect for any team with a poor offensive line. I.E. the Raiders. I may also imporve R Gallery's play; thus giving him the ability to use his speed and athletic ability rather then muscle a lineman away from a stationary QB. I myself am a Dallas Cowboy fan; just look at what Romo's ability to move in pocket did for there offensive like. I;m not saying it fixed it but sure did help that the defence didn't have a statue like Bledsoe to tee off on.

i don't think he should go first, nor do i think he's ready to be the guy on an nfl team, even the raiders...obviously he's got the physical ability to make it, but i think he is just not a good enough decision maker yet to be good at the nfl level...take a look at last year, he threw a lot of passes into tight spaces that were incomplete when playing at the college level that WILL be intercepted playing in the nfl...he definitely could have used one more year, he is just too raw in my opinion

Yes, however, the Raiders should pass him up. Then the Lions can pick him up with the second pick in the draft.

They would be dumb not to take that freak wide reciever Calvin Johnson and trade Randy Moss, but the Raiders are good at being dumb.
