an actor. it's something you can do all your life. unless you suck, but if you didn't you wouldn't be asking this. although you could be both, like Rachael ray. shes on TV and she cooks.

Depends on what skills you have. If you have the culinary skills and experience you have a good chance at becoming a chef, or vice versa. But the acting world is harder than being a chef. Not only is it unlikely you might become an actor, no offense, but if you do, you have to face all the drama that comes with it. In my opinion, become a chef; but do what your heart says you should do!

If you become famous, being an actor would probably be better because then you'd have lots of jobs and be making lots of money and not have any privacy. However, assuming you don't become famous as an actor, then it would probably be better to become a chef since it would provide a steady job. That is assuming of course that you are a good cook. Otherwise, just do what makes you happy.

chef. there will ALWAYS be hungry people. Acting doesn't work unless you are good...relly good! But, since hunger is unavoidable...you can be a bad chef and still make a killer living!!!! Everybody's gotta eat! It's kinda like the idea of becoming a moritician...there will always be people dying! ....lol..... I know, sick sick sick!!! BUT TRUE!
Become a chef. You can do acting stuff on the side...who knows....
(maybe YOU are our next Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, or whatever!! (odds aren't too good tho, I think.)

In this economy, neither is paying well or steadily for new hires. Also, being a chef would pretty well kill any chance for acting because of the work hours and vice-versa.
You didn't give enough info for other ideas..

You're more likely to be able to get a job as a chef.
Oh the other hand, if you do well at acting you might (MIGHT) get fame and fortune. But you probably won't.
So be a chef.

I think that chef is more sure but if you relly love acting and you demonstrate talent ,why don't you do it?

Well what do you want to do? If your like acting shoot for it. If you like cooking shoot for that. Whatever you -choose choose the one that means the most to you-Rascal Flatts
