oh yea and is there a such thing as skateing lessons somewhere

The best way to start is get out there and give it a go, pads are recomended! You will meet other skaters in your area and most will be willing to help and give you tips. Go talk to your local skate shop. There are also DVDs (i know Thrasher make one) and books available to help give you the basic tecniques.

Just try skateting having friends that skate wont hurt either, also if you want lessons skateshops might have them a local skateshop by my house gives lessons to beginners

buy a board and maybe have a friend (if u have any that skate) teach u a thing or two

buy a skateboard (not too cheap not too expensive)
