it would do nothing except develop you pectorals, some bicep and core. But with doing such high reps of pushups, which id rather spread out my energy doing other exercises to round my self out. The problem would be though that you over develop your front muscles which will cause strain on your back muscles. You need to balance the muscles on the front with equal exercise on the back or else either set of them wont be able to counter the force used by the stronger muscles.

i think of that it fairly is great which you're changing your behavior! basically undergo in thoughts not one of the understanding will remember in case you retain smoking and ingesting. So definatly make quitting that your significant objective. yet i think of the pushups are a great thank you to drop some weight and get in shape. do exactly no longer push your self too stressful and confirm you do it at a cushty fee. in case you experience such as you have gotten pulled something, do no longer proceed. i could say shop at 2 hundred to 3 hundred and don't bypass any greater till you're valuable you are able to handle it and be responsive to what you're doing. good success(:

If you're at least a young adult and you build up to that number of reps, it's actually very good for you. Hershel Walker, who had a couple of great years as a running back for the Dallas Cowboys, didn't lift weights. Instead, he did something like 1,000 + situps and pushups every day.

200-1200 doesn't do a damn thing, same as doing 500+ sit-ups, doing alot does nothing!

However, you can do less push-ups, say 50 a day, and doing the push-ups right and also trying to do them differently once in awhile, try to flex your muscles when doing push-ups!

Same goes for sit ups
