I think Jon Gruden has run that team into the ground. He won that Superbowl with Tony Dungy's players and when the team started to get older Gruden couldn't do anything about it. He's been overrated from the beggining I mean he can't even find a good way to utilize a talented running back like Cadillac Williams. Any other coach in this league would have been fired for pulling what Gruden's pulled the last few years.

First off, Cadillac had an awful season for two reasons last year. They had two starting O-Linemen out for most of the season injured. You're not going to be doing much of anything without a line. Second, Cadillac had injured his foot and we all know that a RB's best asset is his feet.
With that being out there, they made the playoffs the year before last with a healthy Chris Simms who played the second half of the season when Griese got hurt. They pretty much have the same personnel they had then. And now they have Garcia and potentially Calvin Johnson to fill in opposite Joey Galloway (Michael Clayton has been hurt as well). I think even if they don't get Johnson they will pull a WR either from free agency or from the draft. Getting away from the running game will help take the load off Cadillac and could definitely help that situation.
I think they'll get better. I'm not sure whether they'll make the playoffs but I think they could definitely get better.

Garcia will start more than Chris Simms next year mainly because Simms is not a starting quarterback. Offensive line must play like they did in 2005, not 2006. White will be missed because the Bucs defense is getting up there in age at a few spots. They will not be very good next year but they will improve since they will likely get a talented player in the draft. (Joe Thomas, or Calvin Johnson) I say they go 6 and 10 next year.

you know what? i think the bucs can be good next year if they get calvin johnson. i dont care what people say, jeff garcia is a good QB with experience. i know because i live in san francisco and saw him play for years. garcia to johnson will be a great combo, toss in cadillac then you got a pretty decent offense and i forgot galloway too. i dont know who the bucs play so i cant make a accurate guess on their record but 8-8 seems fair right off the bat,

as a bucs fan, i have to say that i think this team is capable right now of making a run at the playoffs, but a lot of things must go right for them to do so...first, gruden must recommit himself to the running game, something he got really far away from last year, when he panicked very quickly in games and abandoned cadillac williams and the running game...next, the defense needs to prove itself, because they were awful at times last year and need a lot of help from their younger guys...finally, they need to determine who they want starting at QB and mold the offense to his strengths, that means if simms is to start gruden needs to allow him to throw down the field more...i see between 6 and 9 wins for this team, depending on the above factors

the key is gonna be getting the ball to cadillac williams more often. i think he is still there. any way, cadillac is one of the most talented backs in the league, yet they dont lat him do his thing. it is stupid let him run the ball 25 times a game and it will make your QBs life much easier and allow them to win more games.

6-10 or 7-9 they will slowly improve. i find it hard to believe just a few years ago they won the super bowl.
p.s. it was against the oakland raiders also hard to believe.
