Clearly, a majority of Americans don't approve of President Bush in whatever poll you choose to believe, with his 29-35% approval ratings.
I'll say this for Republicans: they know how to get people elected. They raise money, their volunteer base is motivated, and they know how to appeal to the worst things Americans fear. They can run a great campaign.
Unfortunately, they don't know how to govern once they get into office.
And once there, the President is just entrenched and can't be removed except for impeachment. There aren't enough votes in Congress. Again, Republicans know how to run a campaign, and saved enough of their seats in the last election to only give Democrats a working majority. With decisive majorities and no fear of reprisals, Democrats would have impeached the President by now for sure. Also unfortunately, the Vice-President would be much worse for the national interest if he were promoted to President.
Americans are a people held hostage, but only for another two years or so.

People do like George Bush. The media plays it off that people don't like him. Uneducated (not talking book smart) people follow, they think the media speaks for the majority and they try to fit in.Lets face it most people are followers, few are leaders.
What do you hear that is good as a result of the war? Maybe if you were told all the good, people would have a better outlook.
When a child is learning one does not scold them, you tell them what part they did correctly. This keeps the child in good spirits. If a parent was negative all the time then the child would be negative. What is positive in the media? Nothing. Hence, people have a negative attitude about Iraq. It is psychology. The media like science and most everybody has an agenda, even me.
Ask yourself, who is benefiting from what you are being told?
Don't listen to the news and assume that you are getting the complete story.
Investigate with an open mind.
You will see that everything you are told by any media outlet is half true. If they wanted you to hear the entire story they would not give you 30 seconds of a one hour speech.
Have a look at this and see what you make of it. If you don't know what this is then you need to do some homework... When you figure it out, you may wonder why nobody is talking about this in the news.

Ya must be a foreigner. 50% Of the folks in America wanted George Bush as president. 50% of the people did not, they wanted their candidate to win (which he didn't thank god) So, its only realy about 50% that realy want him out, just like when the democrats win the presidency in 08, then the 50% of the ones that voted for Bush will have something to whine about. Isn't politics in the United Sates Easy? :)

His term as President is not over yet and Democrats do not have enough votes to impeach and remove him. The American public really has no power to change the President at this point, it is the way our system of government is set up.

What you are reading is from our liberal press and President Bush's enemies. President Bush won two elections and the liberals can't stand it. During the 2004 election he even won in some states the liberal Democrats (I prefer commiecrats) usually control. Don't believe everything you read or see in the news. The press doesn't always tell the truth.
It is true that the President's popularity has slipped considerably as the war on terrorism drags on. It is unfortunate many of my countrymen don't understand the long term consequences of giving up before the terrorists are killed or contained.
Yes, it is sad we have lost over 3000 US service people and too many of our allied fighters. However, these numbers pale in comparison to 10s of thousands lost in just one day in the fight to save Europe from NAZI Germany. How many died on just one day back then. One day remembered simply as D-Day, 6 June, 1944.

The majority of Americans also think American Idol is quality TV.
The majority of Americans know all about Brittany Spears, but nothing about who the leader of Iraq is.
The majority of Americans believe whatever talk radio tells them to believe.
The majority of Americans do not pay attention to what Bush has done.
The majority of Americans do not understand the Constitution.

there is nothing majorly wrong with george w. bush. it's the majority of americans that are entangled in the land of myopia; a true group of lemmings that follow the bandwagon and go with what's currently popular.
the problem with people is that they don't like doing research for themselves because of all the conveniences mass production has provided us all; the internet, television and the radio. tabloids and word-of-mouth... all the secondary information we get comes from non-credible sources who lack factual information. all the bias remarks that float around stir up the truth effect and if someone hears it long enough, and loud enough, they will believe it.
hang out with george w. bush for a week and you will realize for one not only how intelligent he really is, but that he is also a good person with high morals and persistence in his beliefs. You gotta respect him for his ruthless diligence.
boo hoo, go cry to your local leaders, maybe they're the real ones to blame for your troubled lifes! I'M NOT EVEN A REPUBLICAN!!!

Because our president, whether or not he is liked or disliked, he cannot assume full control of our country. He is checked by 2 houses of representatives and another judicial authority.
He will fulfill his term unless he does something illegal. In other countries a dictator can do things illegally, and no one can do anything about it unless they want to die.

Americans voted him into office . Myself included . The only ones who have a problem with him are the terrorists he has on the run..and the liberal Democrats . Sometimes , they seem to be like a tag-team with both of them taking shots at America . George Bush is the first honorable president since Reagen .
