i found a 1956 rare penny and i was wondering where can i sell i in san diego area?? or if anyone knows some information please give me info too

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but 1956 dated US pennies/cents are not rare, or even scarce. They were minted in huge quantities in both Philly and Denver mints, and unless your cent is in near flawless uncirculated, then I'm afraid it's worth only the face value, or 2 cents at the coin shop, or at best 5 cents elsewhere for circulated conditions. I suggest you keep the cent because I doubt any coin dealers would buy it.
