if your eyes are blue.. a gloldish brown color is perfect.. with some shimmer. you see, dark brown colors makes bluw eyes POP no joke! most poeple make the mistake of using blue eyshadow but accually, it just sorta hides them. so brown goldin shimmers would be perfect!!

Going natural is the best choice i think. Do some simple stuff to just enhance your natural beauty. Physicians Formula has this new Mineral powder called shimmer strips and you can use it all over your face or use the colors individually. Its like a bronze color and i think there are two shades depending on how dark you are. but they with any skin tone. Just use a little on your cheeks all together and put the colors that look best on your eyes. Its all coordinated and blends nicely. Finish with a thin subtle brown liner right above you lashes and some black mascara. For the lips I love those Juicy glosses in the squeeze tubes. The color is real subtle and they are real easy to just re-apply in a hurry. Try a bunch of stuff out before the big night and find out what you think looks best. If you have tan completion and are wearing a yellow dress you'll stand out enough so going subtle and natural with your make up will look great. Have Fun

What I usually do is find celebrities with my skin tone and copy their makeup. I mean as long as it looks good, because honestly they don't always.
You can steer wrong from browns. Make sure whatever color you pick that it has some shimmer too it. The best thing to do is just to experiment with shades.
I usually go to Sephora or an Ulta store and try on all the makeup they have their to see what looks best. That way I don't have to by a ton of stuff i'll never use. Hopefully they can help you out there as well.

Try a shimmery white, and blend a little bit of gold into it.
A good idea is to go to a cosmetic counter at a department store or Sephora and ask one of the makeup artists. They should be able to show you many looks. Or you can just book an appointment at a cosmetic counter for the day of the prom. It's usually always free unless you go to MAC or something.

Just wear a shimmery champagne color all over your eye and for added deapth a little bit darker color in the crease. Nothing dark or over powering. The shimmer would speak multitudes.

1.cover the lid to browline with a sheer nude color
2. take a bronze color and sweep it over you lid extending a little past the corner of your eye
3.take the same bronze color and use a thin brush and line it on your lower eyelid underneath your eyelashes
4.take black eyeliner and put it on the INSIDE of your rims.(optional)
5. curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler
6. apply 2-3 coats of black mascara
this helps make your eyes look beautiful and exotic
to make your face look a it has a glow, put a foundation that is very close to your skin color and evenly put it on your face with a tissue or a cotton swab. then take a translucent shimmer powder and lighty apply with a powder brush evenly on your face with a sweeping motion.
