I let my friend borrow my usb cable cause she didn't have hers and ever since it won't work. I've tried to delete the whole itunes program on my computer and redownload it, but it won't work...

is your ipod popping up on itunes?? if not retry a new usb port. If its up on iTunes and it says their is a problem with your ipod and need to be restored then restore it. Or your friend could of damaged the cable on accident for example water mud etc on the cable, the cable wont work. But also make sure the cord is securely in the computer when you plug it in.

try holding down the middle button and the top button for about 10 to 30 seconds until you see the apple sign.
that should fix it!!!

I think your friend might have broke the usb because it never does that under any circumstances

yeah its most likely ur cabel, if not, then u need to take ur ipod to a specialast and get the software re-installed so that itl be compatable w/ windows, good luck!!!
