I have a dog that has peed all around our toliet. I have tried cleaning it up but I can't get the smell out of the bathroom. The floor is ceramic tile. What can I use to get the smell out?

Scrub the floor around the toilet with baking soda. Then take white vinegar and clean the floor again and the toilet. that should do it.

My new male cat peed in our bathroom before he was neutered. I had to scrub the floor with a bleach and water mixture. I could still smell it around the toilet.so I had my husband take the toilet out so I could clean the bottom of it and clean where the seal was. Then we put our toilet back in with a new seal and the smell is gone. I can only guess that somehow some of the urine seeped in under the toilet through the seal somehow but now it's gone. Good Luck!!

This is rather unusual because ceramic tile is so easy to clean.Has the urine seeped into a crevice? Don't use ammonia because that smell reminds the dog of urine and he will remark the spot.Add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide to 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Add 1/2 teaspoon of dish washing liquid, stir well and apply to the area with a sponge. Let this dry completely and vacuum up. This recommendation is from Haley's Hints published in 1999. Good luck and have a great year.

I have found a very sophisticated air purifier that works. I also have a dog and I can't break her from peeing in one spot on the carpet. We soak up the pee and scrub and have also tried the foam but she just goes back there.I have been so sold on these purifiers that I now sell a few of them as a part time job. They are a little expensive but will get rid of any smell you have. Larry

Oh god, not the pee trapped in the grout smell! I know it well. I used everything from 409 to Windex multi purpose to bleach. Mrs. Meyers cleaning products are the only thing that works for me. I have the lemon verbena cleaning kit and love every single product. The all purpose cleaner is what I use on the pee soaked grout.

Sunshine will kill the smell if you can get the sun to shine on it for several days, aside from that vinegar should neutralize the odor.
