Maybe, They might do a show about that where at the end Homer wakes up and it was a dream. Many comedians believe that death isn't funny. I would think the writers on the Simpson's would think of that as a challenge. They did a show in which Homer killed Mrs. Flanders accidentally. Many viewers complained about this not being something to joke about, but some people got the joke and thought it was funny, but they were in the minority. I expect that some day one of the writers will come up for an idea for a story about Homer killing Bart that is funny . He will do this to show the other writers that he can do something they can"t.
