I honestly don't know, but I do know that when you are that pregnant everything gets compressed and you get weird pains weird places. Your stomach probably hurts because your digestive tract is getting squished, and you are constipated. Speak with your doctor about it. Also, the stomach getting hard thing - those are contractions, which some people refer to as Braxton-Hicks. They get stronger as you get closer to your due date, and can even hurt (even though all those books tell you they are painless - they are not always.) They are your body's way of preparing your for labor. Which is probably not too far off! Good luck with the delivery, and congrats!
