Guys.i really need your help!?

Question

I had class,and the class were divided in to two.One side is against homosexual,and the other side is for/with homosexual ( i'm on this side - for homo.......). I do not agree with homosexual,but i hav to write why i agree with it.I do not know anything to write,can u help me. P.S. i wish i did not get the side for homosexual.

Tough call kiddo.

First off all you need to figure out what you have against homosexuality! Put aside the sex act since that's what you're obviously having trouble with; hey look, sex is gross unless you're attracted to the person you're making love to!

BUT that's a few hours a week perhaps - a very small percentage of a life or a relationship.

I'm not gay, but as a secular science writer the topic of why gays exist has crossed my desk a couple of times. You would think that they would die out from lack of reproduction but they do not: so they must serve a purpose!

It's thought that there is a gay "gene". Other people think that it's environmental; some dumbos even think it can be cured as if it were a medical condition! (I know enough gay people to tell you that you can confuse a gay person, but you can't change them.)

Either way, homosexuality is NOT limited to humans! So it does appear to have a benefit in social groups where there are not sufficient parents (typically, females) to nurture all the infants that the group is capable of producing. IF some of the group are non-reproductive, that makes them ideal (in nature's eye) carers.

This is one theory for why some mammals - apes like us in particular - continue to produce gay offspring in small numbers.

For a few extra points, why not allude to "nemo" ( Amphiprion ocellaris) clownfish. They are all born male, but some change sex during maturation and become female (larger and more aggressive too)! This is another solution to the same sort of problem.

It's a tough question which I suspect is not about the answer you give but more about how you arrive at it.

I don't get it. There's nothing to agree with. People are going to be homosexual whether you "approve" or not.


If you're talking about homosexual marriage, we deserve equal rights.

One- Why should heterosexuals be able to marry and divorce when two people deeply in love cannot legally commit to each other? It's equal rights.

Two- For the record, religion really has nothing to do with it. They say it's an "unnatural act" and what "God didn't intend." No where in the bible does it say "homosexuals=evil," it's just an ill-conceived thought by religious figures.

Three- A piece of paper won't stop two people (man and man, man and woman, woman and woman) from loving each other and committing to each other.

You have set your mind saying "Homosexuality is wrong" that is why you think it is wrong.
Just think "Homosexuality is individual's preference"

Let us assume you drink only Tea and hate coffee. Would hate people who drink coffee. No right? It is the same way. You like opposite sex but some people like same sex. That is all.
Keep this in you mind and start writing you will be able to get a 'A'

Just get an 'F'. Why try to write 'for' something when you are against something? Don't look for others to think for you. If you are old enough to decided that you are against homosexuality, then you are old enought to get the 'F' and stand by your principals.

i totally understand what you mean. here are the arguments for homosexuality
1. they are people, just like you and me, they should have the same rights, just like you and me.
2. since your not gay, why should it even bother you at all, just stay out of other peoples lives!

that's the for homosexuality front. that's what they use most commonly anyways.
i love gay people, but i hate homosexuality with a passion.
whatever you do, don't get defensive, that's exactly what the other team wants!

Maybe your teacher to is trying to get you to see the other side, and even if it's not, maybe you should try.
1) Why do you care what gay people do?
2) Whose the judge of what's ok and what's not?
3) What make them have less worse then anyone else?

It will help you to realize that there are many "gay" people who do not fit the image of popular culture.Contrary to this there are many many of us who cannot be recognized as such.We come from all walks of life from A to Z.In order to give a good presentation you need to research as many areas as you can:History,nature vs nurture gender and role, and cross cultural factors.A good resource for you would be Advocate.com which is the best site that I know of.
You could email them since they have more resouces than just my opinion.It can be a good good experience to play the devils advocate.An open mind opens many doors.

THE ONLY THING I KNOW IS THAT HUMANS HAVE MALE AND FEMALE GENES. IF A MALE IS BORN WITH MORE FEMININE GENES ETC THIS CAN POSSIBLY MAKE THE MALE ACT MORE FEMININE. AND VICE VERSA. RELIGIONS LIKE TO STICK THEIR NOSES INTO IT AND SAY ITS A SIN ETC ETC. I DISAGREE , SOCIETY IS TO BLAME FOR A LOT OF PRESSURE ON PEOPLE TO BE THIS WAY OR THAT WAY. REMEMBER WHEN SOMEONE POINTS A FINGER THERE ARE THREE FINGERS POINTING BACK AT THEM.

If youre for them say something like they are even luckier cause they get to like both girls and boys. so if they somebody they can't just get attracted by males but by females also. I guess that's okay even though I wish I killed those bastards. good luck
