The only thing that you can do is try to show him that you are the one he would be happier to be with... the only problem in doing this especially since he likes one of your friends is that your friend may like him back and then its a big mess. so you may just be sol =/

You can go a few paths from here. Give it a try and possibly lose them as a friend or feel awkward afterwards or just keep them as a friend. You might end up being fine after dating him as well.
Above is the possibilities of what can happen, but know that most amazing marriages are between those who are best friends. Just make sure he feels the same way that you do. If it were me I would go talk it out with him and see if this could actually work, I would be all over this wonderful opportunity.
Good luck in making your decision.

Have you ever seen the movie, My Best Friends Wedding...that's what happens. In a roundabout way. Or you'll get lucky. Not often is the outcome good. Put the feelers out, and see what happens...remember, you'll never know if you don't take a chance. But again you could loose a good friendship. Not always but there is that chance. Just wait till the right time and good luck.

This happens a lot in life but you have to learn to accept it. People go through this all the time and they learn to live with it and go on with their life. It's just apart of people and their nature of attraction. Someone will fall in love with you and you'll fall back in love again, so don't worry. This is only one boy. How do you even know that your friend likes this guy so much as he likes her? Maybe they just want to have some fun. Don't worry, the right person will come along! Good luck!

Guess what happened to me?
He played it off as a joke when I told him I liked him. He never admitted what he felt about me. He is a jerk though, I don't know why I became friends with him in the first place. So basicly... Just move on to another guy. This may take a while and you have to be very patient.

well i suggest that you dont tell anyone cuz then things will just get awkward around that person. i also think you just need to wait it out till you dont have such strong feelings anymore it will take alot of time and some tears but its all a part of growing up good luck to you it will work out for you just hang in there.

You're going to end up being hurt.
Just stay friends for right now. Don't break your heart or ruin a friendship because you want him as your boyfriend.

I have the same problem.I wish she liked me only but when you love somone ,you have to do whats best for them.Though it does'nt mean you have to reject and ignore them it means to let them choose their own friends. You can show your friend that you are capable of being her best friend.show how much you love and adore her and you are sure to succeed.Best of lucks, cheer up and dont be sad.

Ah, sister, that was the story of my life. I can't really tell you what to do, because I never got over mine. I married him! He realized that he loved me as well, and we have been together ever since.
I can tell you that you should try to be patient and don't try to steal him. You want him to love you for you, not because you tricked him or seduced him. If he is going to love you, he will realize it. And if not, you will get over it in time.
