I went in for a CT Scan to check my gallbladder. The doctor has a feeling that I have a bad gallbladder, because I have been complaining about my lower right side abdomen hurting for the past weeks, and I also have a lot of heartburn when I do not take my aciphex. The pain that I have been experiencing is not major but it does feel uncomfortable, because I feel that it goes through my back on the right hand side.Today that I went in for the test the radiologist testing me said that it looked like my gallbladder was not conctracting well, so that would make the percentage not be as good(the doctor explained to me before that I would either have a normal or abnormal result.I was told that the doctor would get the complete results by the morning, should I go ahead and call in the morning? Could it mean surgery is needed? That was what the doctor had discussed to me about, maybe needing surgery if the test was not normal, but what else will he be

You should call. If you have to have surgery it's not a big deal. I have had mine taken out. they make three very small incisions into you abdomen. takes about three days for the pain to go away. So don't worry about the surgery part. They might even be able to give you some kind of medication to help. Good Luck! I know no one wants surgery but you want to be healthy and not hurt any more! :)
