PSP Video 9 is a free software download for putting movies onto your PSP. Its pretty much an add file to list and then click "transfer to PSP" program thats really easy to use and works perfectly.

It saves a lot of complications. It will convert the file into the right format and also gives you the correct name. The psp has a weird file naming thing where it has to be a certain length and certain letter combination in a certain folder. The free pspvideo9 program names everything correctly and gets the file on in no time.

Drag the video to the video folder on the PSP memory card.

You have to get a video converter because the psp can not play some video types.

Almost all are correct, you'll have to find a psp video converter, but I would not choose Video 9. Go to download.com and find one (they all work great). I use CinemaForgeLite1 myself, comes with a wizard and works great. In addition you will have to convert the video to MP4 Not AVI.
