the simpsons is funnier. they are both funny, but family guy is the stupid funny, which after a while just stops being funny

I think The Simpsons is funnier. It helps that the Simpson family shows their human side sometimes and makes me "care" about them (?). (In that sense I prefer King of the Hill over The Family Guy.) I also like the fact that The Simpsons side-characters are more developed. I laugh to both Simpsons and Family Guy, but Simpsons wins for me.

I "LOVE" them both. Been a fan of the Simpson's since 1990.
Simpson's have better characters, but Seth McFarland is funny as hell. Family Guy does it for me. I have all the dvds.

i think it depends on the age of the ppl watching the show. family guy has a lot more of that adult sly humour. whereas the simpsons is slightly under it.....personally for me, family guy has my vote....i mean, where else will i get a cartoon that deals with prostate exams and peter thinking he was taken advantage of
