i have a webcam but it doesnt have the cd and i lost my receipt so i cant take it back.

Go to the manufacturers website and they should have the drivers to download, otherwise do a search for your webcam brand and model on Google

It may be a plug and play webcam. Usually they are.
Driversguide and the manufacture has drivers. I siggest Driversguide, its free, and if your internet is slow, you can order a CD with the files on.

visit the manufacturer website and download the drivers for that model you have.....
