I broke my nose when I was 10...and right after I broke it it became crooked...to this day I still don't know why the doctor didn't just pop the bones back together right after the injury...so now I'm 16.. and for the past years I have been suffering from sinus infections and related breathing problems. I really want to get surgery on my nose to correct my difficulty breathing threw my left nostril and to make my nose straight again...should I just make an appointment with a ent doctor and tell him up front that I want him to straighten my nasal bone?? because I had septoplasty a few months ago but the doctor didn't even bother fixing the bone

I use to think about it too much when I was a teenager. Now that I'm an adult I just learned to live with it. I have a crooked nose, but it never caused me any breathing problems. If it causing you breathing problems your insurance should cover some percent, because of the health issue. If you decide to get plastic surgery, get information and references to good plastic surgery Doc. Start saving money because they are expensive. You can also search the web on the subject.

I would set up an appointment, go over it with a doctor, and set a date. If my nose was like that, I would definitley try to fix it......

if you really feel unconscious about it then go to a doctor and ask what would be the best thing to do. they'll talk to you about it and you'll come up with an answer. many people get nose jobs so its not something thats uncommon..

my girlfriend has baisically the same problem that you have stated. she went to a plasticsurgeon and found that her insurance will help cover the readjustment because it affects her breathing. plastic surgery is probably the best way to fix the bend in it also.

nose surgery is done so often it's hardly a big deal. If you don't like it, change it.
