Okay I have a home computer obviously, but im planning on buying a laptop so I was wondering if i can connect my computers internet cable to a laptop so that the laptop has the internet?

YES, you can. You will need to get a router so that both desktop and laptop can use the internet at the same time. Most laptops sold already has ethernet and wireless built-in. You can connect your laptop to your desktop either by ethernet cable or wireless if you have a wireless router.

Yes you can. You have to have a modem if you are just specifically wanting to connect to the internet only from your laptop. If you buy a router you will be able to connect to the internet wirelessly on your laptop from anywhere in your house.

Yes you can but you will lose internet on your PC. The best thing to do would be to get a router, unless your ISP has already provided you with one, and connect both to it, that way you have both on the internet and can share files between both systems.

yes you can. Just install it the same as you did on your desktop.
