Okay i called my friend before nine and she's Cingular too. Soo does that count against our minutes. Cause i thought cingular to cingular is suppose to be free. Maybe its free but does it count against my minutes? My mom flipped out when she caught me calling my friend. Soo who's right??

We have the family plan and she pays $20 per phone, i think. So it might count against my minutes after all. but it might not. does that help figure it out??

If you are a Cingular customer and you call another Cingular customer then the call is considered to be mobile to mobile. This means that the call is not deducted from your minutes. The free mobile to mobile is only on rate plans of $39.99 and higher only.

It depends on your cell phone plan with Cingular.

I'm with them too and my plan states that minutes are unlimited when I am calling someone else that has Cingular.

But I also have a friend that has Cingular and this option is NOT in her cell phone plan.

You'll need to call Cingular and ask them about the specifics of your plan. You can call 611 from your cell for free and talk to their customer service.

If you have the more recent plan, then you are correct. Cingular to Cingular would be unlimited.

If you have an older plan, then you may not have free cingular calling. You may want to check plan minutes to confirm what you have.
