The fact that you were on the pill does not change anything. It won't make you more protected or less protected. Your body went back to "normal" for those 2 months. And now that you are one a new pill, your body needs to adjust to the hormones. It all depends on when you started the pill for when it will start working. If you started the pill on the first day of your period then it should start working within a week or two. (would recommend using protection if you are going to have sex for the first 2 weeks) But if you start taking it on any sunday or even any day in your cycle, then it might take as long as a month to start protecting you. In other words, just be safe with sex, I would recommend either not having sex for a month or using another form of backup method of bc (ie: condoms). Hope this helps.

Depending on when you started, the pill takes effect either the day you start taking it, or after you have been taking it continuously for a week. However, if your cycle was not regular, you might have started ovulating prior to starting the pill. To be on the safe side, use a condom the whole first month, unless you are absolutely sure you know exactly when you ovulated.
The fact that you were on the pill does not change anything, because you've been off it for more than couple days.

"No, nothing changes. Except once you quit, it takes a month for the pill to wash out of your system, and it takes yet another month for the new cycle to get back in your system. So no unprotected sex until that period is over." Quoteth my young informed feminine companion.

I'd not count on the pill working for the first month regardless of the pill you took in the past.
Also dear, please remember to be safe.
The pill won't keep you from getting an STD.

Nope, you still have the 30 period before you can use it as your primary birth control.
