u should wear a pair of wide leg James Perse louge pants in olive green and J'aore Dior tank top (tank top should b gold )with a Moschino White blazer....BTW it;s comfortable and cute a very hard 2 find combo....
or u could always go with the super striaght black velet skinny jeans (sevens) ,a pair of super cute boots(preferablly white) and an ivory silk halter top .... with gold hoops (hoops and charm braclets r very in!!!!!)
whatever yr plan on wearing ... u no yr spluge in NY so dress yr best and u no you'll come back looking better!!!!!!

shoes: patent leather, pumps,slides, knee high boots, & kitten heels, ballet flats
Prints : stripes, poka dots, logos and cute and creative sayings, some animal prints,
Colours : red, blue, gray is big one, black is a classic and chocolate brown. Silver and metallics are also really hit in the dresses and hand bags area.....
Tops: spagetti straps, tank tops, halter necks, and deep v-necks
Bottoms : jeans, short shorts, minis, and low-rise
others: disco styled red earrings, chandelier earrings, bangels, charm bracelets, and double crossed necklaces.... also... teh belt and a jersey dress is a really cute outfit.......
Best : pink and chocolate brown!!!!!

Layers. Take things you can put on or off because generally it is still cold in New York this time of year but when you go into place it might be too hot - there are problems regulating heat & A/C in large buildings during transition of seasons.
It can still snow in NYC until April
