Maybe you should listen to some techno. You will need an upbeat dj like tiesto, richard humptyvision,or Paul okenfold is good. I also like darude. Look up techno or electric. There are no words, but lots of bass, and it always makes me feel like dancing.

just about anything upbeat by Nirvana... "Smells like Teen Spirit" "Stay Away" etc... and then get something angry, like "March of Pigs" By NIN ( oh that probably isn't appropriate for a school function ), or maybe "Head Like a Hole"
