Assuming you had enough panels to approach 120 volts, only an incandescent bulb would work. Most other devices I can think of, including the pump will not. Many will likely be ruined.

Best bet is to charge a car or marine battery. Then get an inverter at whatever wattage you need for your desired AC loads.

If If you really want just a pump, like a sump pump, they make 12 volt ones. This is better because you aren't wasting energy converting it from 12 v DC to 120 v AC.

Probably nothing at all will happen. Depending on the pump it could cause the pump motor to overheat and burn out but it run.
