I have asked my mom what she thinks about gay people, and she said, "I don't have anything against them" and she also said, "What would I do if you were gay?....It would certainly ruin the dream(me having a husband and kids) but I want you to be happy." I was really happy with the positive results. Now I'm just wondering if I should tell them :/

Only if you want to. It's your life and she'll find out eventually. Unless your not really sure yourself.

If you are sure then you need to tell them as soon as possible. All good parents just want their children to be happy and they would much rather have a happy lesbian girl than a miserable married to a man girl.

Only tell them when it is right for you. Don't let anyone influence you otherwise. You will know when the time is right. Aftewards you will feel so releived and overjoyed.........you will feel proud, because telling your parents takes a great deal of courage. Good

It's not something you have to do until you feel you are ready. Your mom sounds pretty open minded so that will make it easy on you when you do tell her. She can help tell the rest of your family

if i were you, i would come out and say it when i felt most comfortable. maybe talking with them one on one would be easiest, as opposed to dinnertime with the whole family. from the way it sounds your mom doesn't really have anything against gay people, so i'd go for it.

it is a honest confession but a brutal one for parents.try to hide it a little longer.after all this matter concern only you .your parents will get the picture,mother knows ,and they vill still love you.
