i have questions also. what would my username if i put in my real name when it asks. do i get to choose.
do i need to be warned about anything.

Well the main thing with Myspace is NEVER give out any personal info about ur self. and watch who u make ur friends.

No myspace is a great site for networking friends, you ca change your username at any time, after you set it up, which should be in settings. Theres nothing which you need to be warned about except password privacy.

You can make your user name anything you want, you can change it at anytime. Your URL, you need to be sure you want, because you can't change that. Also, be very cautious of where you enter your password. If you ever click a bulletin or something that takes you to a log in page, DON'T LOG IN. If you are ever unsure about whether you are on a real myspace page, type it in the address bar yourself. You also might want to get a good list of sites to get graphics and stuff for your page, I suggest skem9.com for layouts or mygen.co.uk, if you want to make your own. Also, there is the option of making your page private or making it required for people to enter your email or last name in order to send a friend request.

Myspace....just put what you want....don't be 100% honest....This is social networking site, they don't want really know you, people visit your page and then view your picture profile, if they like they will contact you, otherwise, they leave...

dont put in much personal information such as phone number, address, age, etc.
just make up your age. never put in your adress or other personal information. its okay to put your first name, just not your last and first combined. lets say your name is john smith. on your display name, try john, or js.
for html and such, go to a layout website. find one. copy the code. and paste it into your about me.
