No man on earth has ever duplicated what Oswald was alleged to have done. Not even the greatest military sniper, Carlos Hathcock, could do it, so why believe that a marginal shooter like Oswald could?

There are so many encyclopedia sites and references, I will not believe you cannot find information. Stop being so lazy.
I will tell you this: I was 7 or 8 at the time. It was the first time I had ever seen a man cry. The fifth/sixth grade science teacher had been fiddling with an old radio in his classroom and heard the news report - he came running down the hall of my school, stopping to tell each teacher along the way what he had heard.
I also remember President Eisenhower visiting my home town a couple years prior to this. We were sitting out in the front yard and noticed a couple of big, open convertibles passing by on the way to a big picnic that was being held in the President's honor. "Ike" had his car slow down, greeted us and made some small-talk - no bullet proof car, no hordes of Secret Service mobbing all over him, no paranoia. Just a man chatting with some other folk. After JFK was killed, those days died forever.

5-6 weeks before Pres Kennedy went to Dallas - he called his generals together in the Pentegon. He told them that we would be out of Vietnam by the end of 1964.
Then he went to Dallas and was assasinated.
Curious that the Vice Pres was from Texas - and once sworn in -escalated the war - got the Democratic congress to put the Social Security monies in from a private fund into the General Budget so congress could BORROW billions of dollars, and never repay.
LBJ - gotta love him!

what happened was, america changed. it was like the difference between a girl before and after she has sex for the first time. you can never regain virginity. america grew up.
