How can we get Great Britain to be a country to be proud of again?

We need to stop being treated like children by our government. It irritates the hell out of me how we are told how to do everything.
Get rid of political correctness and the Health and safety brigade.
We need to live side by side with people of different colour/religion not in fear of upsetting them.
Finally our government needs to stand up for it's people and not just treat us as their piggy bank.

I have never been unproud of Great Britain. UK has always been a muddled untidy mess. At the root of how we live is a long history of inter-tribal warfare between the Germanic tribes of Britain. We can't agree on anything, so we invented a form of government where the King sent his messengers to each 'constituency' once a year to tell them the Kings laws and ask them if they agreed or not. Believe me if the people did not agree, then it did not become law. On those rare occasions when the King ignored the people's will, there then followed 'war'.

Read all about it. The history of Britain is all about war. I belong to a warlike Celtic nation, the Welsh. We'll have a war with anybody. Mostly these 'wars' are paid for by the English. They point to where the war is and we go there and do it. At the Battle of Agincourt, the Welsh King of England, Henry V ordered his Welsh archers to 'loose arrows'. These 1000 Welsh archers put about ten arrows each into the air in the first minute of the battle and killed or wounded most of the French army. The English infantry went berserk in the face of the enemy and beat the living daylights out of the Frogs. England won, Frogs lost. And, so it goes.

Britain now has stylised warfare in the guise of soccer and rugby. Wham!

Bring back LAW AND ORDER.... Support the victims not give out freebee holidays and benefits to the people who dont deserve it.. why not try locking them up instead...
