Well if the #1 seeds were handed out today I believe they should go to UCLA, Ohio St., Kansas & North Carolina. I know Carolina has lost two out of the last three but finishing first in the toughest conference has to be good for something.

But the seeds aren't handed out today and we still have conference tournaments to get through. Looking ahead I would say whoever goes further in the Big 10 (OSU or Wisconsin) would get a #1. If UCLA wins its first game in the Pac 10 tournament they are a #1 seed. I think KU has to make it to the finals of the Big XII tournament to secure a top seed due to a weak non conference schedule and the Big XII being down this year. Unless the Tar Heels stumble in the ACC tourney I think they grab a #1 seed as well.

If anything strange were to happen...UCLA losing its first game, OSU & Wisconsin both getting upset early in the Big 10 tourney...you could see a team like Memphis grab a #1 seed if they win their conference tournament. Texas A&M could possibly leap up to a #1 if they end up winning the Big XII tournament by going through both Texas and KU.

Half of the previous answerer's are retarded, how do you not have UCLA as one your top 4. First your guys might not know much about selecting, the people base it mainly on their SOS and RPI. UCLA has the #1 RPI in the country and the # 6 SOS in the country. That is the best duo of #'s in the whole country. The others are probably Ohio State, Kansas, and North Carolina if they win the ACC tourney. But to not have UCLA in your top 4 is ridiculous.

As of today, it would be Ohio State, Wisconsin, Kansas, and UCLA. North Carolina and Texas A&M could sneak in if certain things take place such as a Big Ten upset, UCLA not making the Pac-10 final.

I think Kansas deserves it( florida keeps on losing), North carolian definently with there win over duke, Now here is where i conflict...ohio state probably deserves the number one seed, but if it could depend on the big 10 championship game, then i would go with wisconsin, and the other one i dont know....

Big Ten Tournament Winner (Assuming Wisconsin or Ohio State)
Kansas
UCLA
Toss-up between Big Ten Runner-up if the game is as close as the other two and Florida. (Assuming Wisconsin or Ohio State)

ohio state...obviously the best team in the nation
ucla...the loss to washington hurts them, but they are still a lock
kansas...the win over texas puts them over the top
unc(provided they don't collapse in the acc tourney)...i think everyone realizes that the acc is the toughest conference and will not judge their losses so harshly
