When someone proposes the idea that 9/11 was an inside job? Most people say something like "My uncle died from it how could you say that???"
But the thing is, just because they died, that doesn't mean the terrorists did it. Its like showing the jury a picture of the murder victim. It doesn't make the defendant any more guilty; it just makes the jury want to blame someone.
I really don't want to make anyone mad by asking this, its just on my mind. I think that we will probably never know for sure what happened there.
What do you think?

Um...my uncle didn't die (well he did but not in the WTC) , that was just an example...

Agreed.
I've found the opposite to be true here. A couple of weeks back, we had a documentary shown in the UK, all about whether 9/11 was some sort of conspiracy. I posted a question asking why people believe that this was an 'inside job'.
I wasn't rude in my question, but I had so many insulting, nasty replies, accusing me of being all sorts of horrible things, that in the end I just gave up. I lost count of the amount of replies from people calling me things like a 'mindless unquestioning sheep' - rather bizarre, considering that being overly opinionated is one of my biggest faults, not to mention the fact that these people knew nothing about my political opinions whatsoever. I was more than a little shocked.
I guess it's a touchy subject for a lot of people.

Sam, first of all sorry for the loss of your uncle.
One will never know what the meaning was about 911 or whom is fully responsible, but one thing is for sure- WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
I live in Canada and I can tell you I, we were very sickened to see, hear and watch this UN fold in front of our TV screens. OR to even being there at that give time, day.

Actually we do know for sure what happened.
It was 19 Muslim terrorists that hijacked four commercial airliners and flew them into buildings and a field killing over 3000 people.
There is not one shred of credible evidence that it was otherwise.
