no kidding! those packages need to come with step by step instructions to tell you how to get into the package without losing a finger! or a map of where all the little twisties are, along with a list of tools you need in order to get into the crap. And some need a print out right on front that says "New & Improved! 30% less time than before! It now only takes 3 hours to open!" come on, be honest to the consumer! Between the packaging and the tools needed and the batteries needed (which are just as tough to break into) the kids had to wait a good 3 days after Christmas just to play with their new toys!

I've found that a jolly stout knife or bayonet has worked wonders for me. I have also found that the clear tough plastic packaging for some products requires a liberal application of physical force and plastic explosives to open. I think that the armored car companies laid some people off, and now they design impregnable packages.

I have often wondered how in the world one would be able to hide a huge remote controlled car under their shirt. Yet they are SCREWED in a box!!!! After birthday parties, I take a break and a long deep breath before trying to open the kids packaging. It takes half the night and I am tempted to call the fire department down to help with the jaws of life.
