Why don't the Jews and Muslim unite?
Am a muslim and my girlfriend is a jew and we hoping to get married and we don't care about converting our religion.
First of all we both believe in god and moses, we both don't eat non halal meat as it's wrong in both of our religion.
We sometime talk about the Muslim and Jews that are fighting in the middle-east and we both pray for them to unite so the killing would stop.
But at the end of the day we've talked and discussed and said we both believe in one fight which is Good against evil and not one religion against another religion.
No matter what no one is gonna seperate me from my girl friend for being born with different religion but we will try and unite many Jews and Muslims as possible

Because there's too many idiots on both sides worried about keeping their people safe from the opposing idiots. It's not just the mid east. There's a group I came across on facebook that was started after this crybaby jew got beat up by muslims and now every incident is "OMGEVILMUSLIM" and basically grouped them all into one evil comparing to the nazis when honestly ALL sorts people are subject to racist actions each day. When I gave them a mighty damn good reply, like other similiar replys opposing them, they deleted it because they believed they are right to hate all muslums. It's sickening to me that neither side can live to get along. I'm jewish, one of my best friends is muslim and we've been friends for 5 years. If these two sides would shut their mouths and open their eyes for 5 seconds, maybe they'd get somewhere instead of shooting each other in other countries.

There was a time, believe it or not, when intermarriage and unity was common between Muslims and Jews in Palestine. I have family that are both as a result of that unity. I think Zionism is the key to discovering what went wrong. The fact that Israel has stripped Palestinians of their land and attempting to strip them of their identity may have something to do with the problem too. Ya think? :) If you are making it work with your significant other, then may you be a shining example of what can be possible once again. Best of luck to you.

Probably because the Quran tells the Muslims to hate the Jews.
Don't be friends with Jews or Christians:
Sura 5:51: "O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your allies and protectors: They are but allies and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."
Now there is an answerer here who has told me that i lie and that I suck. I fear that this is the tactic used by Muslim apologists who have run out of logical arguments.
I will not insult him. The Quran speaks for itself. After all, it prescribes slitting the throats of unbelievers:
Sura 47:4: "Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, smite at their necks; until when you have overcome them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost."

they wont unite because somone is deliberately keeping them apart..
this isnt about religion, its about control. religion is just a convenient facade...
