I don't know of anywhere that you can get a loan just to get started on your life. Start with getting a job and save your money.

Why does your family refuse to help? Perhaps because you have no real concrete plan?? Hon, why would someone give you money to get an apartment with if you have no job....how will you pay the rent 4 weeks later? Or get the lights turned on or the phone or tv? All of this takes money, and a great deal of it if you are going to live alone.
Go to your school counselor's office and tell them how you are feeling and why.....what is making you want to leave right away .....when you obviously don't have a clue as to how to sustain yourself or what it takes.
If you desire it, you can achieve it - but through education, hon. It's the only way you'll make it on your own. The only way. Good luck.

First of all you need to be at least eighteen and make sure you have a job and save up some money so that you can get a place of your own. Maybe you can get a small starter loan on your own once you turn eighteen. Good luck to you. Why is your family refusing to help you out with this?

You won't get a personal loan without an established credit history of your own. Get a job, keep that job and pay as you go. You'll need to save up for a deposit on an apartment, utilities, food, vehicle and insurance. Being on your own is a lot harder than you think. Maybe college would be a better option.

You need to build your credit before you can apply for a loan, and a personal loan isn't going to happen until you can prove a good income for at least 2 years with the same job.
You will need to put a positive amount into your bank for 3 months before you apply.
Work work work...
The only way to success!

You really don't want to get into debt if you can help it. Why not just get a job and save the money. Sure you may have to stay longer but when you start out you won't have the worry of debt hanging over your head. I suspect you will get more value from saving and showing your family that you are mature and self sufficient. If you borrow and fail they might take that I told you so attitude

You want to be treated as an adult, you have to act like one. In order for you to support yourself and live on your own; you have to have a job.
If you think that you are going to be able to get a loan to live on, you are living in a dream world; loans are going to be only given to adults that are employed in order for them to pay the loans back.
Your family is not obligated to help you, they are only obligated to take care of you and raise you to adulthood. If you want a really good amount of money to live on and pay all of your bills, you may need to work one full time and one or even two part time jobs.
Good luck and have a good night.

Tuff luck - you are just going to have to work hard for the money you will need for rent, bills, etc. Or, stay at home and get some post-secondary training of ANY kind, then you would be better off once you hit the working world.

See if you can stay with your family until you have found work and can save money.I dont know when you r turning 18, but even if you had a couple of months to work and save money, u can at least get yourself a little motel room, or efficancy apt. Or find a roomate, near a college...rooms r cheap there. I told my daughter, if she didnt work and save...she's be living in her car!
