I think "Taxi Driver" is a highly over-rated movie. It's slightly weird, and definitely disturbing. Maybe there's some good acting in it, but it's too over the top for me.
Dirty Harry is an entertaining movie, and one where no thinking is involved...my kind of movie.

Apples and Oranges...they are both great and for much different reasons. Travis is a psychopath that's eventually hailed a hero. Harry Callahan is a psychopath who gets paid to shot people. What a great, sick, wonderful country we live in.
