i just purchased a movie off the itunes store... it downloaded and now i am having trouble getting it onto my ipod.
something pops up that says....


some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipod"my ipod" because your ipod sofeware is to old. go to the summary tab in ipod preferences and click update to get the latest ipod software update.


i cant find a summary tab anywhere... can anyone help me?

First of all, your iPod is video, right? If it not, give up now. Otherwise, here you go.
If you have iTunes 7(you can tell by going to Help> About iTunes), connect your iPod, then click on it. This screen should have all the info about your iPod. Under version, click "Update" and it will get the new software.
If you don't have 7, look under one of the tabs at the top for something like 'Update iPod'
