Well, usually the increase in altitude will mean there will be a absolute decrease in the marine environment. Since altitude means above sea-level and marine means below sea-level. You cannot have a marine environment above sea level!

Temperatures will be lower...temperatures will fall at the rate of 1 degree Celsius with every 166m increase in altitude.So winters will definitely be cooler than at sea level and summers will be more pleasant.
