Cellular respiration's equation is
C6H12O6 + 6O2 which yields 6 CO2 + 38 ATP
Photosynthesis's equation is
6CO2 + 6H2O + Light Energy yields C6H12O6 + 6O2
so basically photosynthesis and cellular respiration are opposites. Cellular respiration takes glucose and with the help of oxygen makes energy. Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide, water and energy to make glucose. So photosynthesis can fuel cellular respiration.

Photosynthesis makes glucose which the plant breaks down along with oxygen to create energy and water and carbon dioxide, which is cellular resperation. So photosynthesis makes glucose which is used in cellular respiration.

These two processes are kind of like opposites. What one does, the other one undoes. What one needs, the other one makes.
Photosynthesis:
1. Needs carbon dioxide and water
2. Builds glucose to store energy in its bonds
3. Releases oxygen
4. Happens only in producers.
Cellular respiration:
1. Breaks down glucose to release energy for ATP.
2. Needs oxygen.
3. Releases carbon dioxide and water.
4. Happens in both producers and consumers since they all need energy.

plants produce this chmical molecule C6H12O6 during photosynthesis, and during cellular respiration, you use rhis molecule to realease energy in between bonds of this molecule. when u break down this molecule you get 6 oxygen molecules and 6 hydorgen molecules. photo. is the exact opposite of C.R.
