Can anyone think of any theories as to why I beep both when I walk into stores sometimes and out? I have braces and this is the only theory I can come up with as to why the sensors always go off. Any insight would be great!!

do you have any perscription bottles in your pockets or purse? Those sometimes have sensor stickers stuck at the bottom of the bottle. If you use a butter knife you can scrape through the sticker.

Either that, or your a clepto....

Sometimes, all the store markers aren't removed from clothing.
I once bought a coat that had 4 tags inside , in different places.
Can you wave your braces in front of the detector to check if that is what is doing it?

Check your shoes. Some stores do not re-activate shoes when you but them. go to a grocery store and run them by the de-activators, you won't beep anymore

well if there is one particular brand you always wear when you go shopping it might be it, sometimes especially with the new clothing the tag itself is magnetized, especially if you have abercrombie, American eagle, hollister, brands. that could be one of the reasons another one might be just that the merchandise you bought is not demagnetized and its setting off the alarm, and of course final reason is that the store just sucks and their alarm system is horrible..other than that i really dont know what it could be, check your tags on your clothing i think its probably that
