The doc should have confirmed your pregnancy one way or another. She didn't take blood or urine or anything? Did she do an internal exam? They can tell if you are pregnant by examining the cervix, as well. If not, that's a bit odd. You may want to find a new one to see you through the rest of your pregnancy.

As far as feeling pregnant, you're lucky not to have the bad symptoms of pregnancy!! I didn't get morning sickness, I think I threw up maybe once or twice my whole pregnancy, did not experience sore breasts. In fact, I felt great while I was pregnant! The end got a bit uncomfortable, of course, but all in all, I loved it. The cravings can get pretty weird. I remember first thinking I was pregnant because I had these huge cravings for salmon (which I normally don't like), white cranberry juice and loads and loads of milk.

You'll feel pregnant soon enough. You'll probably look back on this when you are 39 weeks and laugh! Congratulations on the baby and good luck with everything!!

In the uk if you go to a GP with a positive test, they dont tend to re test. Dont know why? Same thing happened with my 2nd pregnancy. The GP just booked me into the midwife.

Dont worry if you "dont feel pregnant" you will get sick of this phrase but "every pregnancy is differant" you may find about the 12 week mark things move on and you get some of the more common symptoms, sore breasts, nausea etc You may be extremely lucky and sail through your pregnancy with little or no real indication of your condition.
reassure yourself, have a chat with your midwife or healt care proffessional.

Good Luck.

The Doctor should have preformed her own test to verify it. Last month I took a at home test and it said I was pregnant. I was so happy. I decided to take another one to make sure and it came up negative. I have taken several more and they say no. There is a good possibility that you are pregnant but your doctor should have tested you. Not all women have morning sickness, and other symptoms of pregnancy . My sister didn't. It all depends on the woman's body.

The doc should have done a nother test but not everybody feels pregnant. I didn't but I knew I was. The only thing that made me know I was is that I started to get really really hungry like every few hours. It was like I hadn't eaten all day and I may have just ate a couple hours prior. But if your test said you are then you are. Congrats! Can't wait until I get PG again.

Your doctor should have done her own test if you went to her to confirm the pregnancy, that's very odd that she didn't! It's not normally necessary to confirm the pregnancy once you get a positive on the test stick but you are perfectly entitled to want your dr to do that and if you went to her to confirm then she should have definitely done her own test. You can either go back to her and demand blood work if you are concerned, ask for a scan as well or go buy another test and retest yourself. As for not having any symptoms, it's not that unusual. I did not have any at all much to my surprise, but I was told by my obstetrician that it's not that unusual to not get symptoms and to just count yourself lucky.

You dont alway have symptoms. One hint is your cervix will be expanding so you will feel what seems to be like period cramps. I didnt think I was pregnant at first either. Not everyone feels sick right away and some dont get sick at all. Most doctors dont do test if you have already done one. They will do an ultra sound soon and that will put your mind at ease. Enjoy feeling ok because your lat trimester is not fun.

Yes, the doctor should have done a test. They always will do a urine test, also to test for proteins, sugars, etc in your urine.

I would go to another doctor.

HOWEVER, each pregnancy is different. With my first son I didn't have any pregancny symtpoms until the last trimester when I developed some nasty heart burn.

Sure 70% of women get morning sickness, but that doesn't mean you will.

Get a NEW ob/gyn and go there.

Well, my doctor insisted that my drugstore test needed to be verified by the hospital lab.

But I didn't "feel pregnant" either. I had a fabulous pregnancy, with none of the horrid nausea, swelling, or other nasty symptoms some women get. Every pregnancy is different.

Yes your doctor should do a test, also in about a month you will have an ultrasound, once you see that baby whether you feel anything yet or not you will feel very pregnant. Good Luck and Congratulations.
