EV (electric vehicle) question...on Powercheq (spelled Powerchek, Powercheck, Power Cheq, Power Cheks in forum discussions)

There were prior posts in the Corbin Sparrow EV group alleging Powercheq's going up in flames, and dying on the job en masse, after a time. Have the problems been resolved in the current revision of Powercheqs? In other words, would you buy
Powercheqs if you were in my shoes? Any better devices for
non-dissipative battery balancing?

Can 2 Powercheq's be used, 2 at a time, (doubled up) without problems, for a 4A transfer? Anybody try this, and can give a rundown?

I read David Butcher's extensive Sparrow diary. He only got 7K miles out of his battery pack before it died. Is there something he could have done to make them last longer?

How many thousand miles do you get out of your battery electric vehicle pack, and please specify brand/model, thanks.
