I was wondering when you got a positive test? ive been spotting for 3 days, which was 8 days later than my period was supposed to start. Its done now, and I took a test this evening and if i held it to the light and turned it after the time limit, there was a line. haha Im not counting that though, taking again with first mornings urine. But anyhoo, just share how long it took you to find out you were indeed prego. My only symptom of any kind for pms or preg is horrible nausea. I swear, whatever i got going on, atleast I'll lose a few pounds!! Thanks ladies for input.

You may still be pregnant. I was for a month before i knew it. I took test after test and they came back negative. i was 2 weeks late for my period but when i got it, it only lasted 3 days and the pain and sickness i felt was worse than anything. i took a test 3 days after my period ended and sure enough i was pregnant.

I got a positive test the second time I went to the doctor's the first test was negative, (I don't believe in relying on over the counter home pregnancy tests) the second time I went in it was positive. The reasons I don't put much stock in home pregnancy tests is because when my now ex sister in law was pregnant with her second she purchased one that came two in the box. And she firgured she wouldn't really need the second test. So she took the one test, it showed negative...I took the second test and was more than shocked to see that it said positive. Six months prior to taking this test on a lark I had a total hysterectomy, so it would be physically IMPOSSIBLE for me to be pregnant. By the way, three months later she took a blood test at the doctors office...she was three months prengant...

I was confirmed pregnant a week after conceivining (okay, having sex) and it was positive, plus I was still having a period.
This was only proven 100% true because I did a blood test (HCG) where they draw a little blood and look the at level of a certain hormone or whatever is in your blood.

With my first pregnancy I had a period...than no more because I was pregnant....with my next pregnancy..(3 wks along) I began spotting....3 days of spotting....but I was cramping too....I miscarried....my next pregnancy I couldn't carry full term...she was born early (11 weeks).....Are you cramping? If you are get to a doctor...if not good luck!
