If you are trying to save money, baby soap is not a priority. Trust me I know all about that. Use a very mild soap, (not Tide or really strong soaps like that, try arm and hammer with no chemicals added for scent or color)wash your babies clothes seperatly and rinse twice at least, don't use fabric softner and if you use a dryer sheet, use one or a half of one. This way all the residue is off of the clothes. Oh and don't use bleach. I used spray and wash for big stains.

NO offence but I think baby laundry soap is a huge waste of money. I bought some IVORY SNOW or whatever it was not very cheap but the cheapest at safeway and I got sick of doing all her clothing seperate so used it twice since she was born. I just use regular sunlight on her clothing and have no problem with her skin getting a rash and I dont have to sit there sorting through our laundry so it saves time. BTW the sunlight isnt rough on her clothing and even if it were she would outgrow it before long anyways.

I bought a HUGE thing of liquid All Baby and started washing gifts I got when I was pregnant. The baby is 2 months old, and I've hardly put a dent in the container, but do laundry all the time. It was very cheap at Walmart.

I do all of our family's laundry in All Free & Clear - after all, the baby spends as much time touching my clothes as she does her own, so it makes sense to use the same detergent for everyone, right? I buy the concentrated stuff super cheap at Sam's Club. It works very well, and has fewer chemical additives (fragrances, etc.) in it than the special baby ones (Dreft, etc.) that cost three times as much.

Honestly, I have learned that Tide, is the best by far, for anyone, young and old. Especially well for baby, because Tide, uses an stain blocker and keeps clothes from fading, and one thing that most detergents dont do.....it had a anti-flammatory solution in it, which means, your babies clothes, would be less likely to burn, in case of a fire, God_Forbid. Tide also has a crisp, clean scent, that lasts for a very long time, in your drawers. It's always good to use a detergent thatthe whole family can tolerate, because babies are always touching everyone elses clothing, when they r being held anyway, right? And laying on your blankets and sheets?

There is a brand known as Dreft which sells for 19.99 for 200 floz which will last you quite a while this is made strictly for babies and has a great scent and removes stains really well. You can pick it up at Walmart, Target, Grocery Stores, and every parents friend Babies- R- Us. Me and my wife use this and it has been the best..... Personally I would buy the liquid form vise the powered kind fabric color last longer......

i assume Dreft is a "high quality-to-have" that dissimilar the time technically isn't required for the newborn, yet I do have faith it somewhat is a sturdy advice to purchase an rather gentle detergant for the 1st few months, because of fact any healthcare expert might help be attentive to that toddlers have gentle pores and skin, so whilst you at the instant are not getting Dreft, then i might certainly get regardless of it extremely is as free of chemical components as available.
