Ok so you'll never meet a bigger Fab 5 fan than me. I grew up in Allen, TX practically in Jimmy King's backyard. I love those dudes they made basketball fun. I ain't got a problem with one thing they did. But they played basketball the way it was suppose to be played 5 as ONE!

After ya know MC Hammer like Hip Hop really got big and by 1994 Jordan retired and you had thugs with no talent like Anthony Mason roaming the courts reducing the game from artistry to a big shoving match. I don't think the game has ever recovered.

Everything evolves my friend... thats why NBA revenue continues to grow. And in the end, its still the guys with skills that dominate the league (Nash, Wade, LeBron, Melo, Dirk, KG, JKidd, etc).

All the selfish bums (Starbury, Vinsanity, etc) wallow in mediocrity.

Don't give up on the NBA yet... Kevin Durant cometh...

BTW remember the Pistons Bad Boys won 2 championships with hard nose play and that was late 80's early 90's. Mason was a Pistons wanna be.

Basketball grew to it's heights after the birth of Hip Hop

I don't know what you're talking about but after Hip Hop came to so did Magic and the showtime lakers and Jordan didn't take over the NBA until Gangsta Rap took over

that's when basketball Peaked and the NBA market reached the most homes

as far as Mason and enforcers are concerned that's been going on since the start of basketball have you ever watched a game from back in the day? WAY more physical the league just had a more relaxed attitude about it

the enforcers have died out, big article about it recently that all the past enforcers from the 60's, 70's, and 80's were complaining about how soft the NBA has become and the last enforcer was Karl Malone. Stop acting like this was something new, even back in the 50's all the post game was, was a battle of elbows

Get a Clue
