Hitting is pretty good. Not much speed though. Zambrano and Halladay are good, after that alot of question marks for pitching. No closer???? Crosby may be available at SS.

You've got to get a SS!!!!
Use Anibal Sanchez, Colon, Helton, Freddy Sanchez as trade bait. Here's why....
Sanchez - Highly touted rookie pitched well but he won't have much offense to carry a bad pitching night.
Colon - Injury risk. If you've bought low, then keep him and hope his weight stays low and returns to Cy Young form.
Helton - Stats have steadily decreased each year and probably doesn't have much motivation to play for Colorado. Things could change if he gets traded to a ballpark that has big alleys as he's more of a doubles threat than anything.
Sanchez - Good young 2B (I know that position is hard to fill) but he had a good season last year. Probably won't do as well this year so use that as something to get the trade done

You need a SS. Tulowitzki of Colorado or Peralta of Cleveland are decent guys who might be available. Or grab a 2b and move Sanchez to SS. Preston Wilson is the obvious guy to drop. Otherwise your offense is above average. Your pitching could be a problem. Among starters I like Zambrano and Kazmir a lot. Sanchez has a chance to be good. Halladay is starting to slip. His K rate is dropping. I'd try and move him for someone like Lackey or Harang. Colon is a fat bum. See if you can trade him. Basically shoot for young pitchers like Olsen or Snell. If you can't trade him I'd drop him unless it's a VERY deep league. None of your relievers are expected to start the season as closers. Drop one probably Meredith if Tankersley, Torres or Pineiro are available. In fact two could go if two or more of these closers are available. Second choice to drop among your relievers would probably be Wheeler. If your league DOES count holds then trade a couple of these guys for closers. Either way you'll probably be hurting for saves. Don't drop Igawa, but watch him closely. He struggled with his control this afternoon, but he did strike out three in an inning plus of work.

ok so you need a SS, i think you need more power. manny and atkins and i guess delgado are your only power batters. SP can be really good if healthy. halladay, Z, and kazmir will get you tons of Ks with a low era. RP is really weak. otsuka might not even be the closer since gagne is there. anibal sanchez is a good pickup and i dont know if alex gordon will really help but i guess it doesnt hurt to have him there.

ok,, catcher is good, it would be nice to have a back-up. 1st base w/ Delgado and Gonzalez is excellent. ,, 2nd base needs work. I believe Sanchez was playing WAY over his head last season.SS UMM, OFs Sizemore and Manny or very nice,, Rivera is out till all-star game, P.Wilson is not any good anymore.. Todd Helton is all about average now, lost power.
Sp is good ,but your closers suck. Otsuka will not be closing, Gagne will be.
Rating is 6

I'd give it an 8.Hitting is above average and the pitching looks very good.Try to fill someone decent in at SS.Your pitching in general looks great but make sure Colon starts off good or you may have wasted a pick for him.

Nice mix of batters although a little on the weak side for power. Great pitching. If i were you i would trade one of my better pitchers ( Scott Kazmir ) for a middle to high shortstop.
