The reason weed is illegal is simple. It is too easy to grow and the government can't regulate it so they can get their cut of the profits.

If your spelling is a result of using weed, stop now.

"Weed neva kill no one or made you kill sum one ,"

Tell that to anybody involved in a car crash caused by a stoned driver.

"but still they want legalize it,but they sell alcohol where..."

Who wants it legalize? You and your stoner friends? Or did you mean "won't legalize"? Well legalizing would mean controling it and they would probably set the THC level at 1/10th the current street norm. So, all the pott out there would still be illegal. Alcohol production is tightly controled. The amount of alcohol in the bottle or can is limited by the government.

"...and when you drink, you get crazy, get a gun wanna fight and kill every one."

Never happened to me on either count and I drink a fair amount; but I know my limits with booze. I am not saying that all drunks remain non-violent; just that the majority of drinkers do not get into fights or start shooting people.

"then you drive and hurt ur self. or kill other people.why is dat?? why is alcohol legalize...and weed not."

Why do people drive drunk and hurt themselves or other people? Who can say for sure? Try to understand that alcohol and consuming it if you are 21 (in most states) is legal, but driving drunk is not. Yes, drunk driving is a problem but the funny thing is the laws against drunk driving are the same ones against driving stoned or on other drugs. Now you want to compound the problem with more stoned drivers? The police can't keep up on with the number of drivers breaking the law already.

Now here is why alcohol is legal: tradition. I know you are going to say "George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew hemp;" but there is no record of them smoking it-ever. The hemp was used to make sailcloth, rope and other goods, not smoked. Alcohol was an accepted drink despite the fights and wanting to kill everyone because water had too many diseases in it and milk was even worse. In fact, the Puritains that landed in New England stopped there to make beer.

back in the 1920's they made alcohol illegal. It led to moonshiners making and selling their own alcohol. Gangs and crimelords often would control the alcohol trade just like gangs control the drug trade today. Sometimes the people making the alcohol didn't know how to do it safely and someone would die. People would sneak to drink, and it was more then the courts and jails could handle. By making it legal it stopped the gangs from making money from it, let the government and health officials oversee its production so it was safer to drink, they can tax it so communities make money from it, and it freed up the courts and police to handle more serious crimes. Someday they might do the same thing with weed. The scientific evidence on how dangerous weed is to your body with long term use is being studied. If it found it is no greater then alcohol then someday it probably will be legal, in small amounts, for personal use.

One of the truths is that they have found a way to make a cleaner burning fuel from weed that is cheaper than fossil fuels and the oil companies pay heavily in every election to keep weed illegal so the fuel can't be made. The oil companies would all but go out of business.

because of the fact human beings like those--^ here do not understand something approximately it. There are not any destructive long term side outcomes of smoking marijuana and no reason it particularly is probably not criminal. extra human beings die from eating peanuts each and each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days than smoking marijuana. If we legalized it and taxed it, we would have an excellent style of extra funds to go in direction of attempting to restoration this stupid united states of america. yet what do you anticipate? we won't even wrap our heads around gay marriage. I do think of we will relax with the aid of the years nevertheless. the folk working this united states of america are an previous technology.

it should be legal, and regulated like alcohol... perhaps after our glorious leader george w is gone we can eliminate the 5 trillion dollars he has wasted by growing/selling/taxing cannabis cigarettes.
