im 13 110 pounds in i joined the cheer squad i wanted to learn how to do a split

stretching exercises. warm up first and then do leg stretches. stretch for at least 15 minutes and then try your split. It will probably take several weeks before you can actually do one, but each time you stretch you should get closer and closer. Don't push it though, you could pull a muscle if you do.

You can't learn how to do a split, you have to stretch into it. Try doing slow lunges. Be sure to go down far and hold it, but don't over extend. Always make sure that your front leg is at a 90 degree angle over the foot so that you don't injure yourself. Also, try stretching in different positions that you may know. You can try extending one leg while folding the other leg back in attitude or folding it in like you are going to do the butterfly stretch. This stretch really helps for the splits. Try also just stretching what would be your splits. There are many stretches you can do, but basically make sure that you stretch until you feel slight discomfort, and hold it for at least 30 seconds or you are doing absolutely nothing. But be sure not to over extend or it will take even longer to get your splits!!

It takes time, but if you practise every day you will get it. You just stretch first, then go into a split, however far you can go. Hold it for like, a minute, and do that every day.

It depends if you are flexable. If you are semi-flexable,and even sometimes if you aren't, straighten out your back leg first. Then after that just slide down forward as far as you can go. I suggest going till it hurts a little bit, not alot though, and hold it for 30 seconds. If you do it everyday it should help. Hope this helps^_^

Just stretch your legs everyday the way you would do one and eventually you'll be able to go down all the way.
But be careful not to over extend yourself or you'll hurt yourself.
