My dr is going to rupture/scrap my membranes tomarrow how long will it take before i go into labor after she does this??

that will depend on YOUR body. so there is no clear way to tell.
i had mine ruptured with my first child, i had him 6 hours after that.
my youngest, she wasn't born until 13 hours after my membranes were ruptured.
every pregnancy is different. all i can say is over stressing about it, or over thinking about it can actually make your body react slower than you would want it to. just try to concentrate on letting your body do it's job w/out over analyzing it.
it feels like forever at the time..but after wards it seems like it all went by so quickly.

My membranes were ruptured in the hospital and I needed pitocin after that because I was stuck at 4 cm for hours. Best of luck.

Do you mean strip your membranes?? If so you could go tomorrow or in a week.
Now rupturing your membranes means he will break your water and you will have to have your labor started right then and there.

My wife went into labor right away after her membranes were ruptured. Everyone is different, though, ask your doctor.

it depends it could be 5 mins or 3 days it depends on how much hormone is realease when the scrap the bag. it only takes a little for some alot other g.l you can read about it on webmd if you are overdue i know you can try nipple stimulation with a breat pumpor by hand with md supervision only

see if its okay to take a little tyenol just incase before hand if you have some cramping
