Mercury is a deadly poison and future use is limited. There are mercury sensitive dogs that go to schools and other places that may have used mercury in the past to clean up those places. Mercury is bad stuff for living things. It caused massive birth defects in Japan after it was spilled and got in the water where fish absorbed it.
